LIGHTING CAMERAMAN

I have over fourteen years of lighting camera experience in the broadcast industry. During this time I have lit and shot for many different programme genres including: promos, documentary, arts and music, current affairs, daytime and magazine, entertainment, drama, live events and corporate production.

I am skilled in the use of all broadcast camera formats including HDCam, XDCam, DigiBeta, DVCam (Sony), DVCProHD, DVCPro, P2 (Panasonic) and everything in between. I am familiar with all lighting equipment, both studio and location and enjoy the challenge that lighting provides in each situation. I am also well practiced in the use of most dolly equipment, gib arms and other camera support equipment, mini cams and Pole Cam.

Having learned from the professionals, I spent seven years in Wales and the West of England filming for HTV Wales and West, BBC Wales and West, S4C and other independent production companies.

I moved to London in 2001 since when my clients have included the BBC, ITV Central, Channel 4, The Sci Fi Channel, Endemol, CCLab, Showtime, Firefly, Flawless Media and many, many more independent production companies.

Corporate clients include Airbus UK, Ikea, Barclays Bank, Wessex Water, RBS, HBOS, G.E., Proctor and Gamble, Flagship (Royal Navy Training), Deutsche Bank, Nike and many more.
